I survived the summer without my back exploding again. After my final round of the year, however, it was tender for a few weeks. The final Gaggle took place on a wet day, and the wet turf took a toll. Let’s just say it didn’t feel good to accidentally bump into a door frame.
I’m officially feeling good now and starting to think ahead to what is possible for the future as a writer and a golfer in Alaska. I’ve been at this for more than a decade now, trying all sorts of ideas. Nothing has achieved the vague visions floating in my head.
So, we start again, from scratch.
Winter means no golf, but it does provide plenty of darkness and cold, which are good conditions for thinking. So, that’s what I’m going to do. I’ll keep thinking and planning and maybe come up with a new plan.
